A practicing advocate in India, and a member in good standing with the Bar Council of Delhi, Purbitaa has 5 years of combined experience in navigating complex legal landscapes in both India and the United States. Her meritorious academic background, unwavering commitment to client success, and versatile legal skills make her an invaluable asset in the legal arena.
While interning at Shardul Amarchand & Mangaldas & Co., in New Delhi, she developed her foundational research and analytical skills, for her subsequent role as a Technology Law Litigation Associate at the well reputed law firm Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, in New Delhi, where she drafted legal opinions for various Indian, U.S. and European multinational corporate clients and also assisted in commercial and civil litigation matters before courts. Thereafter, while practicing at the Supreme Court of India, she has assisted esteemed legal luminaries like the former and current Attorney General of India, handling matters of national significance, like challenge to the Ombudsman, commercial disputes, family matters, government matters, amongst others, while having simultaneously drafted over a hundred and thirty petitions and applications before the Supreme Court of India.

With a second master's degree from Georgetown University, USA, she brings a wealth of international exposure to her professional journey. While serving as a Litigation and Immigration Legal Assistant at Usher Law Group P.C., a law firm in Brooklyn, New York, she demonstrated remarkable versatility in handling litigation and immigration matters in the U.S. Her contributions were substantial, involving precedent research, contract interpretation, and the drafting of motions across diverse legal domains, spanning New York, Florida, and New Jersey. Her impact extended to significant immigration cases, including a successful remand in a Second Circuit Court of Appeals immigration matter. Proficient in preparing and filing various immigration petitions, she navigates complexities with finesse, covering H-1B applications, family immigration processes, and both affirmative and defensive asylum procedures.

Active in professional associations such as the American Bar Association and a member of good standing with the Supreme Court Bar Association of India, alongside her multilingual fluency in English, Hindi, and Bengali enhances her role in both domestic and international collaborations.
